The Pop Star Embraces a Hell Version of Her Own Identity in Satirical Film First Look

The celebrated musician is getting ready for a significant film appearance in 2026, beginning with the fictional documentary titled The Moment.

In the film, Charli portrays what she calls as a dark version of her own persona.

It’s the truest representation of the music business that I’ve ever witnessed, Charli stated.

She clarified in a discussion: It’s far from a live performance documentary, but the idea originated from the demand to produce one.

A Glimpse into The Moment

The first teaser, released on recently, blends real clips from Charli’s Sweat tour with made-up off-stage interactions.

The film is directed and co-written by the director, who shared that the story revolves around a reality where the artist took completely different paths throughout the publicity of her hugely successful record Brat.

The mockumentary is only one of numerous forthcoming movie projects for the star, who recently appeared in three cinematic festival entries recently.

Future Ventures

Additionally, she agreed to feature in Dakota Johnson’s maiden directing project A Tree in Blue.

I am really enjoying my cinematic path, the performer shared. I’m highly enthusiastic right now in that field, and I solely want to do things that inspire me.

February will also bring the launch of Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights, which will include fresh tracks from the singer.

She is also set to provide music for the drama Mother Mary, with Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, scheduled for release soon.
